Whoopie Pies

COOKIE DOUGH

  • 1 C. butter
  • 2 C. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 C. flour
  • 1 C. cocoa
  • 3 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 C. milk

Cream together butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add milk, then add remaining ingredients. Drop on ungreased cookie sheet by teaspoons. Bake at 400 degrees for 7-8 mins. Let cool then fill.

FILLING

  • 1 1/2 C. Crisco
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 jars marshmallow
  • 1 box confectioneries sugar

Cream together until smooth and spread between two cooled cookies.
