INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 C. sugar
- 1/2 C. Crisco
- 1/2 C. butter or margarine
- 1/2 C. brown sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 C. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 pkg. chocolate chips
- 2 egg whites
- 1 C. brown sugar
INSTRUCTIONS
Cream shortening, brown sugar and white sugar together. Add egg yolks, water and vanilla. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Put in a 9 x 13″ pan. Cover with chocolate chips. Beat egg whites to peaks, and then add 1 C. brown sugar gradually until stiff. Spread on top of chocolate chips. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
