INGREDIENTS
- 1 angel food cake, broken into bite size pieces
- 9-oz. pkg. chocolate chips
- 4 beaten egg yolks
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 4 egg whites
- 1 pt. heavy whipping cream
INSTRUCTIONS
Melt chips over double boiler; cool; add egg yolks. In a separate bowl beat egg whites until stiff, add sugar. Fold into chocolate mixture. Add whipped cream. Put a layer of bite sized cake pieces in a 13×9 pan, then half the chocolate mixture, cover with the rest of the cake, then top with remaining chocolate mixture. Chill. Top with whipped cream if desired.
