BARS
. Cream together then add to dry ingredients
- 1/2 C. Crisco
- 1/2 tsp.almond flavoring
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 C. flour
- 1/2 C. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 C. finely chopped almonds
- 1 C. raspberry jam
Cut in dry ingredients and add chopped almonds; combine to form soft dough. Divide dough in half. Place half the dough in a greased 8″ pan. Spread with 3/4 to 1 C. raspberry jam and cover with the rest of the dough. Bake 20 – 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
