INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 C. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 2 lbs. boneless lean beef, cut into 2″ cubes
- 3 tsp. salad oil
- 2 onions, sliced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 bay leaves
- 6 to 8 carrots
- 6 to 8 potatoes
INSTRUCTIONS
In a small bag, combine flour, salt, pepper and paprika. Shake meat, a few pieces at a time, to coat completely Heat oil in a 5 qt. pan over medium heat. Add meat and cook until browned. Add water, (enough to cover meat and vegetables), onion, bay leaves and garlic. Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 1 – 2 hours. Add carrots and potatoes; cover and simmer until vegetables are cooked.
