Sauteed Green Beans

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 lb. of fresh green beans
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. minced garlic
  • salt & pepper
INSTRUCTIONS

Wash and cut the ends off the beans. In a frying pan, barely cover the bottom with olive oil, add crushed red pepper and let the beans cook uncovered for 5 minutes. Add garlic, salt & pepper. Cook a few minutes more, then cover and cook until tender. You can also cook fresh spinach and asparagus this way.
