Step 1) Mix dressing:
- 3/4 C. olive oil
- 3 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 coddled egg (hardboiled egg cooked in vinegar)
- ground pepper
- 1 lemon, halved
- 1/4 C. grated Parmesean
- anchovy paste to taste (optional)
Step 2) Toss dressing into:
- 1 lg. head of romaine lettuce, chopped
Step 3) Top with:
- 1 can anchovies
- croutons
