Stuffed Mushrooms

INGREDIENTS
  • 12 lg. mushroom caps
  • 1/2 lb. whole mushrooms
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 stack Ritz crackers (crushed)
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 cloves garlic – minced
  • 1 tsp. Gravy Master
  • salt and pepper, to taste
INSTRUCTIONS

Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees. Place mushroom caps in a baking dish. Clean the remaining mushrooms, removing any hardened stem parts. Finely chop onion and mushrooms (may be done in a food processor, but don’t over-process). Melt butter in large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and saute one minute. Add chopped mushrooms and onions and saute three more minutes. Add cracker crumbs, Gravy Master, salt and  pepper. Cook stirring frequently until onions and mushrooms are tender. Generously fill large mushroom caps with mushroom/crumb mixture. Bake at 400 degrees for twenty minutes.
